That's too funny! Wendy cleanedup last year! I should ban her from the raffle to give everyone else a chance!

07-25-2011, 08:00 PM
This is a show only - right? No trails?

So what's the day like? Do all of us Morris/Sussex County people day trip, camp or motel it?

Assuming we're outside 99% of the time... dogs allowed?

07-26-2011, 07:45 AM
Day is a show and shine of sorts, jeeps are all in classes. Wine is flowing via tastings and youcan purchase and drink on site only. Any time Dan and I have gone (first one was at Almethea) we went for they day. Grassroots does a raffle which we can't really fault Wendy for cleaning up on, she did hand over a chunk of change for tickets. Wine, Jeeps....can't go wrong.

Tom, are you still asking for toys?

07-26-2011, 09:00 PM

How do I register? What are the costs?

You can register with the link that Tom hooked us up with or go to the Grassroots' club site.
Most of us are traveling from the North so it'll be easier to meet up there. Most of the participants wear club shirts so we will all stand out. See you there. It's a great time.

10-27-2011, 04:45 AM
Hey Cathleen, you do not need a "club shirt" to stand out! LOL
A few of us, under darkness, are paying a visit to Wendy's the night before to disable her Jeep for the day. Looking for a wheelman!

10-27-2011, 10:12 AM

Heeeyyyy, not nice. Funny about Wendy. She put in the $ for the tickets so it was her right to win...and win....and win....

10-27-2011, 10:34 AM
Only kidding. She's a lovely lady with a great rig. Always enjoy seeing her and her other 1/2. So do you think her tires are the same size as last year? LOL

Heeeyyy wait - that was a compliment!

Great day, great event (again). Overall we had 6 rigs with us. Both George and Alex placed in their classes. Mike won the overall award for best beater rig. THE CLUB won for most participants. Thank you to all who joined in this year, we had 3 of us the first year and now we are up to 6-7 by the third year..... Great job Tom and the rest of the Grassroots gang.

WFTW had a table set up and got quite a few people offering help. Many also donated into the jar. Thank you to everyone.

11-12-2011, 06:18 PM
Had a great time! A real fine event run by a fine jeep club. Thanks again Tom and the Grassroots Jeep Club.

11-12-2011, 06:34 PM
What a fun day! Chardonay Sue and I really enjoy having a Jeep Show at a Winery...What a Country!

Thank you Grassroots Jeep Club and Tom for another winner!

11-12-2011, 06:56 PM
This was my first time there... Flo & I didn't get there until 1:30 due to morning commitments so we missed the entire Jeep show, however I had the opportunity to buy raffle tickets at the last call. I was blessed with the next to last prize being raffled off - a Warn Winch Recovery Kit!:nuts::nuts:

Aside from being an extremely cool prize... I've been wanting to add this gear to "all the s#!t I bring on a trail ride" but been put off by the $$$ of stuff like a snatch block.

Had time to buy some wine & event shirts as well.

Everybody told me this event has an outstanding raffle - I'm sold. :D

Thanks Tom & Grass Roots for putting this on - we'll try to make the whole event (with a Jeep) next year.

11-13-2011, 06:02 AM
I want to thank everyone for coming out and making this the best show ever we couldn't do it without you!! I don't have an exact count but we had about 125 JEEPS in the show! Once again we didn't have much to clean up because JEEP people are the best!! Congrats to the NJJC winners and the club for your participation! Hope to see everyone next year! Don't forget the 2nd Saturday in November your busy at Jeeps in the Vineyard 2012!
