    Hard Wireing Warn Winch

Does anyone know if the Red Warn Comp winch is hard wired the same way as the 9.5 TI? I haven't decided if I like the red winch because it only has 50' line. In the mean time I want to hard wire it. I also have a brand new 9.5 TI I think will be replacing it soon.

    1) Is the hard wiring same for both winches or will I have to rewire upon changing winches?
    2) Does anyone know where I can get a wiring diagram?
3)Yes I think I am going to lose the Red Winch

Mike, I hardwired my xd9000i a few years ago. There should be 3 selonoids under the cover. I believe I have the diagram somewhere. I will see if I can find it.

Also, If you are interested in selling the comp winch let me know.

I have done my 9500 as well back in the day with a 16G 3 wire. I was once told the 9.5 TI was done differently. I haven't been able to find a diagram to see if the 9.5 needs more than 3 wire.

I would go straight off the battery with a coat hanger.
