So after the last time I went wheeling on Father's Day weekend I realized that my new beadlocks were installed wrong by a local shop I'm friends with. Half way into the trail ride that day I popped a bead. Anyway long story short it was my fault for not installing them myself. So this past weekend I spent 5 hours and installed all the beadlocks correctly. The first beadlock took me almost 2hrs because I was having trouble unmounting the tire from the rim. Once I figured out an easy solution to that the rest went nice a quick. About 45min each. I have to say it was a very tedious project but knowing they are installed correctly now is a nice piece of mind. Plus the reward beers after made me happy! :D

Yes actually lots! Except I have plans that weekend to go down to Cape May that weekend. I'm trying to switch stuff around to free up that weekend for myself so we'll see...

Spent some time this weekend correcting the awful ghetto lean I had going on with my Corbeau seats. Over the winter I bought a new set of Corbeau Baja seats for the YJ. I installed them to the factory seat brackets. They mounted up great but the down side was they leaned back really far. This was an issue since they were a fixed back seat.

                  (Before)

I ended up ordering a set of Corbeau seat brackets this past week. After installing them I was happy to see that the seats were now back in a upright position bringing the seats back to its factory spec. The new brackets are really nice especially since they retain the slider rails allowing me to slide both driver & passenger seats forward and back.

                  (After)

I also found this new sticker for the Jeep that seemed appropriate lol

Corbeau's are nice seats. That was one of the luxury items I upgraded on CJ.

Nice to see the brackets kept your sliders, super helpful for different drivers.

I really like the Corbeau seats Dan. They are very comfy and sure do add some extra cushion over the stock seats. Yes the sliders on the brackets were a must! It doesn't happen often but sometimes my father will drive or my Fiance so I needed to keep the ability to make adjustments. Also makes getting stuff out from behind the seats easier :p

Thanks Peter! Certainly a good motto haha

Well after a long wait and the right accumulation of funds my front dana 60 project is finally commencing. Starting to collect all the parts needed for the project over the next month. I will be wheeling my Jeep as is for the spring/summer and then starting the install on the front 60 sometime in August. I felt like a kid in a candy shop this morning pulling the trigger and ordering some of the needed parts.

Here is the part list thus far:
Front High Pinion Dana 60 - 65" wms
Reid Racing Inner C's and Knuckles
                          35 Spline Inner/Outer Shafts w/CTM joints
                          ECGS High Steer Arms
                          Warn Premium Locking Hubs
                          Detroit Locker
                          Ruff Stuff Shock Mounts
                          Maxxis Trepador Stickies 37x12.5"

The Reid knuckles and c's are cool but I suggest taking that money going full hydro now and do the c's and knuckles later plenty of people run stock c's with no issues
