  • In addition to my previous post here are some before/after pics of the dash bar on the A pillar. Gives a better perspective for how much more visibility I have now.

    • Seeing while wheeling is over rated. Just ask Kelley.

          • Dash is gutted & I cutout the piece of sheet metal I will be using for the new dash. Now to make a cardboard template. Also got these cool/cheap vents from Joes Racing to mount your Trans, TC or Diff vents to 1.5” tubing. Grabbed 2 and hooked them up for the Atlas and rear diff.

            • Made some good progress last night. Got everything cut out and test fitted it with the stock gauges. Everything lined up well. Now I just have to yank it out again for what feels like the 100th time sand it down and paint it. Then back in for final installation. Picked up some rock lights just for fun over the holidays so I got all the wiring plumbed for that. Just need to mount the lights and that will be fun to play with esp the red/blue strobe lights! I also picked up some baffling for the fuel cell to ditch the foam that’s currently in it. Progress continues.

                • Dash has been sanded/painted and installed. Ended up using a black bedliner spray paint to give it a textured look. Also cut the aluminum shifter plate for the atlas twin stick and short throw shifter. Shifter boots are in and the floor is finally not a hot mess lol.

Yes I do. If you scroll up to the top of this page post #151 has pictures of the before and after of the dash both interior and exterior.

Thanks Dan. Yea I had some hazard themed grip tape I cutup a while ago and stuck em to the pedals. Keeps the boots from slipping off when they get muddy LOL

No worries lol. All the posts kind of mix together after a bit. Yes the huge change in visibility is much welcomed. Its night and day the difference so I'm looking fwd to not having to stretch my neck to see over the hood hahah.
