    • Guess you will need to do a little math with the CFM numbers for the 4.2 to find the correct turbo to swap and get you 8lbs.

              • been cutting, grinding & welding for the week. I've put in a few 1:30-2AM nights.. :p

Triangulated the lower mounts, beefed up the crossmember, triangulated the trans crossmember mounts, and welded everything in.

The next step is to finish up the motor mounts. Then I can pull the drivetrain and disassemble the chassis. Gonna weld the front axle together and then get painting!

Kev-- I can't yet say that I am. Driving it will give me an idea of it's worth. I really miss the look of the leaf springs. I am taking your word that it will work better. With that said-- I am REALLY glad to get rid of axle wrap!

                                updates-

worked on it a little yesterday. Trevor & Rich, thanks for the help in moving the heavies around!

today was 6 hours of little stuff.

I got the frame all welded in & ready for paint. Here's the motor mount extension

patched up the spring bucket area. The uppers will go on here somewhere, but I have to wait until the Jeep is back together &see where the final angle & ride height will put the upper spring mount.

added some braces to the upper link mounts

rear axle & frame ready for paint. Front axle ready for dis-assembly, welding, & then paint... I'm thinking of trussing the front axles' long side.
