            • Thanks Dan, great minds think alike.

Got the new Ford 40lb injectors and Powermaster starter installed tonight. Cleaned up the gasket surfaces and am ready to install manifolds

              • installed self adhesive heat shield on the bottom of the intake manifold, final-installed the intake an exhaust manifolds (thanks again Rich!!!), turbo, turbo oil feed & return, vapor canister return line.

More $$ left our bank account & went to Summit's last night.

next up is getting the fuel system nailed down-- upgrade pump and plumb delivery & return lines, which will be an education in AN fittings. Gotta paint the fuel cell skid.

                        Thanks Pete! :)

Got the fuel delivery line mostly bent up last night-- 3/8 stainless hard line is hard to bend! Gotta bend up the return and run the ARB line. Then get them all clamped to the frame.

A little detail on flaring stainless. It isn't easy. After a bit of trial & error, I came up with a tapered plug to keep the line from crushing. Also found it was best to rough up the tube with some 120 grit sandpaper , to keep the tool from slipping on the tube.

The plug is tapered slightly in length (.005) to allow for easier removal and as you can see the head of it is flared at roughly 37 degrees as well to allow the tool fo notinterfere with it

Vasyl came over and help me most of the day on Tuesday, which I very much appreciated. He got the rear tailgate mounted and ready for paint and also prepped/degreased the entire tub. Thank you Vasyl!

                          • Well, with the turbo, you need more fuel. The stock pump puts out 95 LPH. I needed something more like 200 LPH. I ended up going with the Aeroquip stealth pump. It puts out over 300 LPH. The trick was mounting it in the stock location. I also needed to install a -6AN fitting on the fuel pump output line. I'm going to use two of the 3 -8AN fittings on the tank for vent and return.

                            • What i got done on Tuesday- TJ 4.0 PSC pump onto my 4.2 . It took about 6 hours of milling, cutting, grinding, turning, cutting, and painting. Used the aluminum 4.0 mount that Steve gave me and modified it to fit.

On the filters in the tank, what is the rubber hose you used at the ends? Regular fuel injection hose?
