    • Thanks guys!

Alvin came by again in helped out. He got a bunch of wiring done which allowed for tail lights and hooking up the fuel pump.

Ultimately to have it 'shaken-down' by and then driven to BLB.

      • Less than ideal productivity the past few days, but chipping away none-the-less.

Got the manifold, dump pipe, and down pipe wrapped and botled in; got the O2 bung welded in; got the cat, flex tube, and muffler welded in and hung.

        • Nice! Never thought to weld a bracket clamp onto the muffler like that...

            • Thanks guys. Yeah space is tight and I had to come up with my own own mounts. Took some notes from what I learned about the commercially available mounts. As usual, everything is all stainless so it should last a while.

As can be seen, I also got the drive shafts in. Amazingly enough my old rear driveshaft fit perfectly. The front shaft that's in there now is a stock TJ's front shaft. It fits almost perfectly, as well. I may have to shorten it by an inch. Have to see what happens at full stuff.

                • Thanks Doug!

Got the exhaust done today. It took a bit longer than i hoped, but i am very happy with how it came out. The tailpipe was the hardest part.

                    • Pretty exhaust. SS I bet..
Do you have any worries about it boiling the brake fluid?
Curious why didn't you dump it right after the muffler, point in a down/outward angle? Concerned about it working back into cab?

The stock TJ shaft has 1310 joints? Do you think they will be adequate with the increased power from the turbo?

2.5" 304SS, of course. :D I have a great source of dairy tube.

Any place where the exhaust and brake lines got close, i used or made some heat sheild. I have always been surprised how much heat brake lines can handle.

Yeah, i don't like the smell of exhaust. Besides, this is legal. I almost had it coming straight out the side, just in front of the rear tire. My apprehension was that I'd have to listen to and smell it all the time. Again, also not entirely legal.

Rich, apparently they came in 1310 & 1330. I have one of each. :-P Yeah, the 1310's should be fine. It's what was on the 350 axles. I twisted driveshafts long before breaking the joints

I also got into the tank today and replaced the fuel line with submersible. It went surprisingly easy. I'm so relieved that's done!
